How We Help

From financial gifts and specialized equipment to enriching classroom materials, our ongoing support shows our belief in the power of education. Here’s how we’ve been making a difference:

• Financial Gifts: Last August, we celebrated the start of the school year by giving 31 licensed teachers $500 gift cards each. These cards were used for classroom essentials, allowing teachers to personalize their teaching spaces and meet their students' needs.

• Specialized Equipment: Last year, we supported Elijah Reece, a Middle School Math Teacher, with 10 TI-84 Plus Graphing Calculators worth $1,063.02. These calculators are perfect for subjects like Pre-algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Statistics, and even Biology and Physics. Plus, they’re approved for use on major exams like the SAT, ACT, and AP tests.

• Enriching Classroom Experiences: In Spanish 3, students are diving into Robo en la noche (Theft in the Night), a novel set in Costa Rica. To bring the story to life, they’re learning about Costa Rican culture, listening to howler monkeys, and even tasting traditional cuisine. This immersive approach is preparing them for a spring break trip to Costa Rica, making their learning experience unforgettable.
  
  In Spanish 2, students are enjoying El Capibara con botas (The Capybara with Boots), a novel about the wildlife of Ecuador. This book helps students review present tense verbs in a fun and engaging way.
